The chief executive of the social network, Mark Zuckerberg, said that the five countries with more connections are Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico and the United States.
The social networking site Facebook topped bar one billion active users, said Thursday its CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
From “this morning, there are more than one billion people actively using Facebook every month,” said a statement on the group’s Web site.
“Helping billion people in touch is amazing, it makes you humble and is by far the thing I’m most proud of in my life,” said Zuckerberg.
Facebook said that of this total, 600 million members access the site from your cell phone.
The five countries with the largest number of current connections are Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico and the United States, and the average age of new members of the network, 22 years, the group adds.
Mark Zuckerberg stated in his message “committed to working each day to make Facebook better, hoping that one day can contact to the rest of the world.”
